Western Canadian Operations

DEGT’s western Canadian portfolio includes three distinct businesses—BC Pipeline and Field Services, Midstream and Natural Gas Liquids Marketing—which are strategically located to connect western Canadian natural gas supply sources with growing Canadian and U.S. markets. The 2005 integration of these businesses provided increased scale and scope in western Canada and added a diversity of assets to the company’s portfolio that will provide new growth opportunities for DEGT and its customers. DEGT is now the largest processing business in Canada.

BC Pipeline and Field Services

  • 3,000 kms (1,864 miles) of natural gas gathering pipelines which access supply from some of the most active areas of exploration and production activity in western Canada.
  • 2,600 kms (1,616 miles) of natural gas transmission pipeline which can transport 1.9 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day
  • 5 major natural gas processing facilities with a capacity of more than 1.8 billion cubic feet per day.
