Through Union Gas, Duke Energy offers natural gas service to commercial, industrial and residential customers in Ontario. With approximately 40,000 kilometers (25,000 miles) of transmission and distribution pipelines, Union Gas serves more than 1.2 million customers in 400 communities.

Union Gas’s transmission and storage system connects natural gas from western Canada and U.S. supply basins to eastern Canadian and northeastern U.S. markets. Union Gas’s transmission system, including storage and gathering, is 4,100 miles (6,600 kilometers) long. At 150 billion cubic feet, Union Gas’s storage facilities are the largest in Canada.
